We are seeking a skilled IT infrastructure specialist to provide on-site support for customers. As an IT infrastructure specialist, you will be responsible for building relationships with customers and delivering technical support.
This role requires excellent communication skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- 18 months of IT experience (or equivalent)
- Ability to build strong customer relationships
- Experience in operating systems, applications, and hardware installation and troubleshooting
- Mobile devices and networking knowledge
You will need hands-on experience in installing, troubleshooting, and fixing desktops, printers, laptops, and other computer peripherals hardware problems as well as desktop applications.
A good understanding of ticket logging tools and knowledge of the ticket handling process is necessary.
Broad knowledge of enterprise LAN and WAN setups and concepts is also required. Ability to perform smart hand activities under instruction-based activities at sites is essential.
Ability to lift/move computer equipment weighing up to 50Lbs is a must.
Skilled in desk side support and PC break/fix including basic administration of Windows O/S is required.
Experience with anti-spyware and anti-virus software is also necessary.
Some usage Knowledge of TCP/IP networking, DNS, DHCP, VPN, and RDP is required.
Smart hand support for peripheral and networking hardware, including monitors, keyboards, mice, printers, fax machines, scanners, routers, wireless routers, switches, firewalls, racks, cabinets, multi-port data termination panels all under 'Smart Hands' capability is a must.
Ability to work with deadlines and complete tasks on-time is essential.
