Assistant Manager Role Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Assistant Manager to drive business growth, manage inventory levels and oversee the daily operations of our boutique.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in staff management, customer service and sales, with a strong understanding of luxury retail principles. They will be responsible for ensuring seamless day-to-day operations, achieving sales targets and fostering exceptional client relationships.

This is a highly rewarding role for individuals who thrive in fast-paced environments, possess excellent communication skills and are committed to delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reviewing operational reports to ensure accurate stock processing and inventory management
  • Developing and implementing effective sales strategies to meet or exceed monthly targets
  • Leading by example, motivating staff for optimal performance and providing regular feedback
  • Supporting employee development through training programs and OMEGA E-Learning modules
  • Providing operational support for Customer Service, collaborating with the Customer Service Manager to maintain high service standards

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in retail, preferably in the luxury sector
  • Proven staff management experience and tertiary qualifications in Business Administration advantageous
  • Excellent organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good computer literacy and visual merchandising flair
  • Flexibility, energy and enthusiasm
