Job Overview

The Director – Statewide Training and Delivery is a key leadership role that plays a pivotal part in enhancing workforce capability, improving safety outcomes, and driving cultural change across Tasmania.

This position offers a unique opportunity to build and implement system-wide programs that address strategic risk issues, occupational violence prevention, and education development.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate policies, procedures, and protocols for the efficient management of occupational violence prevention risks and functions.
  • Provide high-level analysis, oversight, and advice on strategic risk issues, as well as develop and maintain frameworks and modeling on key objectives.
  • Lead and coordinate reporting and accountability processes, providing leadership, direction, and support to team members.

This role involves working closely with senior executives, stakeholders, and other teams to achieve shared goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to analyze complex information and provide strategic advice.
