We automate routine tasks, simplify document management, and enhance decision-making, allowing legal professionals to focus on providing exceptional legal counsel.

As an AI Software Engineer at Corto, you will be responsible for designing and developing APIs that power our Core AI capabilities. You will also contribute to building a robust system that extracts and ingests large amounts of data from various sources to provide insights used in Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG).

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Design and develop AI architectures and solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Lead the experimentation of internal AI projects, ensuring alignment with best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI technologies into existing systems and processes.
  • Conduct research and stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI and machine learning.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to team members.
  • Evaluate and recommend appropriate AI tools, frameworks, and technologies for various projects.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for AI solutions, including design specifications, test plans, and user guides.
  • Ensure the scalability, reliability, and security of AI systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes.
Requirements:
  • A strong foundation in software design and development principles.
  • Experience with Generative AI-based application development.
  • Experience with Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG).
  • Experience with AWS technologies for software development.
  • PostgreSQL/PGVector experience is an advantage.
  • Python Development experience is an advantage.
  • Big Data/ML experience is an advantage.

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on location and experience.
