Key Responsibilities

The Research Development Lead plays a crucial role in conducting and coordinating mental health research across various services.

This involves guiding the service to build on its research capacity, capability, and culture by actively seeking funding opportunities and supporting clinician-led research initiatives.

The position provides high-level advice to senior leaders on the development and implementation of research capacity building programs and statewide initiatives relating to mental health research.

Key Requirements
  • Extensive experience in research management, preferably in a large and diverse organization.
  • Experience in conducting high-quality research, obtaining research funding, and publishing outcomes that translate into clinical practice or policy.
  • Proven record of leadership and innovation in health service delivery, with experience communicating complex research concepts to diverse audiences.
