About the Role

Gateway Health is seeking a dedicated Counsellor to join our team in Wodonga. As a Generalist Counsellor, you will provide confidential counselling services to individuals aged 16 and above.

The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, be attentive and non-judgmental, and have the ability to build trust with clients. A client-centred approach is essential, as well as knowledge of evidence-based counselling models and techniques.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide professional counselling services to clients
  • Build strong relationships with clients through empathy and understanding

Requirements
  • Diploma or degree in a relevant field (e.g., social work, psychology, counselling)
  • Experience in providing counselling services
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
