Solution Architect Role

We're seeking an experienced Solution Architect with expertise in designing and implementing scalable business intelligence solutions using Amazon QuickSight. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys collaboration, technical problem-solving, and driving customer success.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop solutions that optimize Amazon QuickSight capabilities for customers.
  2. Collaborate with AWS field sales, training, and support teams to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  3. Develop reusable customer content, such as demos, presentations, documentation, and blogs, to promote Amazon QuickSight adoption.
  4. Act as a technical liaison between customers and service engineering teams, providing product feedback and accelerating feature adoption.
  5. Share knowledge and best practices within the AWS solution architect community to build a strong database, analytics, and AI/ML ecosystem.

A Day in the Life:

Your daily schedule will be a mix of solving customer challenges and creating assets to promote Amazon QuickSight knowledge. You'll collaborate with field teams to drive successful customer outcomes and work closely with Go-To-Market Specialist counterparts to develop strategies for customer adoption.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 4+ years of experience in technology domains like software development, cloud computing, systems engineering, or data & analytics.
  • 3+ years of design, implementation, or consulting experience in applications and infrastructures.
  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 2+ years of experience developing dashboards with Business Intelligence platforms like QuickSight, Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Experience in technology/software sales, pre-sales, or consulting.
  • Experience with scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell).
  • Experience with AWS technologies.
  • 2+ years of experience architecting and implementing Business Intelligence solutions into production.
