Aged Care Support Worker

As an Aged Care Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of our clients across the Southern Sunshine Coast region.

About the Role

This permanent part-time or casual opportunity requires a dedicated individual who can provide personalized support services to our clients. Your duties will include:

  • Personal Care - assisting with daily living tasks such as hygiene, grooming, dressing, mobility, eating, and safe transfers
  • Domestic Assistance - helping with household chores, meal preparation, and light gardening
  • Social Support - providing companionship and encouraging engagement through conversation and activities
  • Transportation - supporting clients with shopping, appointments, and community access

You will work closely with our team to develop personalized care plans that cater to each client's unique needs and preferences.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Experience in community or aged care support (desirable)
  • A current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
  • A valid driver's licence and access to a registered, insured vehicle
  • The ability to travel up to 45-60 minutes
  • Flexible availability for shifts between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM
  • Ideally available 3-4 weekdays
  • A minimum of 20 hours per fortnight (PPT), with potential to increase after probation
