Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Kitchen Assistant to support our talented chef in preparing healthy meals for children.

The successful candidate will maintain a clean, safe and well-organised kitchen environment, work collaboratively as part of a supportive team-focused setting and play a key role in supporting the health and wellbeing of children through nutritious food.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and present healthy meals for children
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and organisation in the kitchen
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service delivery
  • Support the health and wellbeing of children by providing nutritious food options
  • Build positive relationships with staff, families and children within the centre community
Requirements
  • Food Handling Certificate
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Strong understanding of diverse dietary requirements and food sensitivities
  • Australian Working Rights
  • Impeccable personal presentation
  • Availability to work Monday to Friday
