Brisbane, Queensland, Australia beBeeAccess Full time $84,000 - $112,000

At CPB Contractors, we are building on our unique history to create a successful and sustainable future. Our construction projects aim to safely deliver next-generation infrastructure that better connects people and transforms communities.

We have been selected as the preferred proponent to deliver two major packages for the Cross River Rail Projects: the Tunnel, Stations and Development (TSD) package and the Rail, Integration and Systems (RIS) package.

The RIS package is crucial to the overall delivery and success of Cross River Rail, and its integration with the Queensland Rail network. It includes rail civil and electrical works, brownfield rail surface works, upgrade of six suburban stations, rail operational systems works, and rail signalling works and communication.

As a Corridor Access Manager, you will facilitate rail corridor access, coordinate Network lockout and delineation, and oversee the safe-working component for all rail corridor users working for the RIS project. This includes managing Network safe-working requirements, overseeing access to the site, coordinating the installation and removal of protection, and ensuring all workers act safely and comply with safety requirements.

Our desired requirements for this role are 3 years leadership experience in a highly regulated safety-critical environment, experience managing Permit to Work or Lockout, and experience delivering detailed and critical messaging/information in a group setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Network safe-working requirements for the project in accordance with QR requirements and Project planning.
  • Sign into the Protection Officer or Permit Holder's Multiple Workgroup Register and ensure a thorough briefing is received.
  • Oversee all access to the site including managing the lockout (lock box and protection) and delivering a briefing on all known hazards and controls.
  • Coordinate the installation and removal of protection as required, including handback and track clearance processes.
  • Attend and contribute to necessary meetings, including T-Minus meetings, related to the safe-working design and setup of all works within the Rail Corridor (as required).
  • Assist as necessary with any Rail Safety functions including (but not limited to); lockout, spotters, PICOW, audits, etc.
How to Succeed
  1. Develop your skills in Network safe-working, access management, and risk assessment.
  2. Build strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to achieve project goals.
  3. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in rail safety.
  4. Continuously improve your leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and engage with stakeholders.
What We Offer

A rewarding career opportunity with a dynamic team, where you can apply your skills and experience to make a real difference in the rail industry.
