We are seeking a skilled and motivated Dental/Orthodontic Assistant to join our dynamic team.

This is a full or part-time position with compressed 10 hour shifts over 4 days. The primary location for this role is Parramatta however you will be required to travel to Canterbury approximately one day per week.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Assist the orthodontist during patient exams and procedures
  • Prepare and sterilise orthodontic equipment and instruments
  • Take patient records (ie photos and intra-oral scanning)
  • Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and orthodontic care
  • Provide excellent patient care and comfort
Dual Role:

This role includes working as both a Dental Assistant and Receptionist, with duties split evenly between the two roles.

  • Dental Assisting Duties:
    - Book appointments for new and existing patients
    - Process payments
    - Ability to multi-task in a busy environment
About You:
  • 1 year experience in a dental or orthodontic clinic is essential.
  • Cert III in Dental Assisting or higher
  • Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and terminology.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with our orthodontic team and interact effectively with patients.
