Job Overview

The role of a Healthcare Support Professional is crucial in delivering exceptional mental health services. Our team is dedicated to supporting individuals in their recovery journey.

Key Responsibilities
  • As the central point of communication, you will provide excellent secretarial and reception services to clients, clinical, and management staff.
  • You will perform medical reception duties including answering incoming calls and directing callers to the appropriate staff member.
  • Scheduling appointments and maintaining client records is also an essential part of this role.
  • General office tasks such as opening and distributing mail, typing, scanning, filing, and archiving are also required.
  • You will assist in closing and securing the building at the end of the day.
  • Additionally, you will prepare medical letters to members of the clinical team.
Requirements
  • A Cert III in Medical Administration or similar qualification is ideal.
  • Exceptional administration, time management, and organizational skills with attention to detail are essential.
  • Knowledge of the healthcare sector and ability to interact with people from diverse backgrounds is necessary.
  • Proven record of working effectively within a multidisciplinary team is required.
  • Demonstrated communication, interpersonal, problem-solving, and organizational skills are necessary.
  • Well-developed customer service skills are also required.
  • Able to remain calm and deal sensitively with distressed individuals.
  • Proficient Microsoft Office skills are necessary.
  • Understanding of duty of care, rights to privacy, and confidentiality is required.
  • Good availability is necessary.
  • Must be eligible to apply/currently hold a Blue Card.
  • Must hold/be willing to apply for NDIS worker screening clearance.
  • A current unencumbered driver's license is required.
