The successful applicant will work as an apprentice Maintenance Fitter, performing a variety of tasks including operating production machines, running diagnostic checks, designing new components, and repairing equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and adjust production machines to create parts or tools
  • Run diagnostic checks, troubleshoot issues in production, and identify problems
  • Design new components and systems using CAD/CAM software
  • Repair machines and build components in repair facilities
  • Use monitoring programs to track machine performance and processes
  • Cut, thread, bend, and install hydraulic and pneumatic pipes and lines

Requirements:

  • Motivated, enthusiastic, and reliable individual
  • Car and driver's license
  • Completion of Year 10
  • Willingness to undertake formal and on-the-job training towards a Certificate III qualification
