Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team in Western Sydney. As an Occupational Therapist, you will work with clients in their homes, providing high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to promote independence and restore functional independence.

• Assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients living in the community
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based occupational therapy services to clients under Aged Care funding
• Work collaboratively with the multidisciplinary team to achieve optimal outcomes for clients
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, families, and carers
• Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services and programs

• Degree in Occupational Therapy and current registration with the Australian Health Professional Regulation Agency
• Postgraduate experience working with a variety of aged care services, including the community setting
• Demonstrated ability to assess occupational therapy needs and develop individualized programs for aged care clients living in the community
• Knowledge of wellness, re-ablement, and restorative care approaches
• Demonstrated ability to work in a team and independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Demonstrated computer literacy and willingness to utilize required software
