Clinical Nurse Position About the Role

Clinical Nurses play a vital part in patient care, and we are seeking an experienced professional to fill this key role in our PACU / Recovery Unit.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for problem-solving, fostering a positive work culture, and providing dedicated advice to team members.
  • In addition, you will perform accurate and comprehensive patient assessment to address short and long-term needs.
Requirements
  • You must have current registration with AHPRA.
  • We require a minimum of three to four years' full-time postgraduate experience working in a PACU / Recovery Unit.
  • The ideal candidate will have proven ability to assess, plan, coordinate, and evaluate care delivery needs of patients.
  • Preceptorship experience and a compassionate approach to mentoring students and novice nurses is highly desirable.
  • Proven management skills of a large team are essential.
  • Paediatric experience, ALS, and PALS are preferred qualifications.
