The role offers a unique opportunity for a skilled Carpenter to join the team and contribute to the company's success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fully understand project requirements
  • Take precise measurements and calculate material needs
  • Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to specifications
  • Construct window frames, doors, staircases, and building frameworks using raw materials or pre-fabricated items
  • Lay out floorings, roofings, or drywalls ensuring they are level and compatible
  • Erect framework and roof framing, lay sub-flooring and floorboards, and verify the trueness of structures
  • Nail fascia panels, sheath roofs, and fit exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
  • Carve and assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items, and install them where designated
  • Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance
  • Build scaffolding and other construction structures

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Carpentry with previous experience of 1 year in a fast-paced environment
  • Able to work well with the team and independently
  • Must be able to work shift work, including nights and weekends
  • Good organizational and communication skills
  • Permanent Residents or citizens of Australia will be preferred
