We are seeking an experienced Medical Specialist in Geriatric Care to join our team at CC Medical. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a dedicated team in a large tertiary referral hospital, offering a state-of-the-art health facility and excellent educational opportunities.
Role Summary:- Provide high-quality medical services in Geriatric Medicine, including diagnosis, treatment, and care for patients, both inpatient and outpatient.
- In consultation with other clinical services, assist with the management of Hospital patients following referral.
- Participate in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching programs.
- Undertake research in Geriatric Medicine.
- Contribute to continuous quality improvement activities.
The Aged Care department has 66 inpatient beds across 3 sites, providing acute older persons' care, subacute beds, and rehabilitation services. The department is strategically planning for further development, including a Perioperative Service and additional acute admitting older persons unit beds.
