We are seeking a strategic leader to develop and implement a Health and Safety Strategy, ensuring the delivery of health and safety services aligned with our organisational goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with operations teams to drive health and safety initiatives and achieve compliance with safety standards.
  • Lead risk assessments and audits, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Design and monitor Health and Safety Management Plans; provide coaching and support to teams.
  • Foster a culture of safety through a collaborative approach.
  • Provide leadership and guidance on incident management and response.
  • Conduct investigations and reporting of incidents, ensuring proper documentation.
  • Undertake internal safety audits and support external audit participation.
  • Oversee Health and Safety Training programs and evaluate their effectiveness.
  • Translate field insights into practical health and safety improvements.

Requirements:

  • A recognised degree in occupational health and safety or a related field.
  • Health and Safety Auditor training.
  • Qualifications in incident investigation, e.g. ICAM.
  • 5 years' experience in a similar industry, managing a team.
