System Architect and IT Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled System Architect and IT Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex computer systems.

Responsibilities:
  • Designs system architecture for new or existing computer systems
  • Maintains organization's computer systems' workflows, configures and operates computer systems, including fixing network issues, updating equipment and software
  • Provides technical support in network management, software, hardware configurations and architectures
  • Troubleshoots moderately complex system hardware and software issues
  • Trains end users on hardware and software use
  • Performs software installations and upgrades to operating systems and layered software packages
  • Monitors and tunes systems for optimal performance
  • Ensures workstation/server data integrity by implementing standard software and hardware solutions
  • Ensures data/media recoverability by following backup and archive schedules
  • Conducts hardware and software audits of workstations and servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies and configuration guidelines
  • Ensures computer performance and security meet network user needs
  • Evaluates existing systems and assists with long-term planning strategies
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Mandatory Skills: Systems Administration, Systems Architecture
  • Certifications: IAT Level II, CompTIA Security+ CE
  • Experience: 19 years (HS) or 14 years (Bachelors)
  • Clearance Required: TS/SCI FS poly
