Forestry Consultant

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Arborist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting visual assessments of trees and providing expert technical advice on tree health and arboriculture matters. This role requires a strong understanding of Arboriculture, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Follow safe working processes and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
• Conduct tree assessments and provide technical advice on tree health and arboriculture matters.
• Collaborate with local and broader teams to meet business goals.
• Travel across the network to conduct assessments and deliver services.

Requirements:

• Certificate III in Arboriculture (required).
• Minimum 3 years' experience in tree assessments (required).
• Strong knowledge of Arboriculture, including tree identification, growth habits, diseases, and pests.
• Excellent communication skills for reporting and interacting with stakeholders.
• Current and valid car driver's license (mandatory).

What You'll Bring:

• In-depth knowledge of Arboriculture, including tree identification, growth habits, diseases, and pests.
• Strong ability to assess tree defects and evaluate the likelihood of failure.
• Sound understanding of industry safety protocols, especially in lone working environments.
