We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at Green Leaves Early Learning Ashgrove Cottage.
As an Early Childhood Educator, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our children, promoting their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Care and Nurture: Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children, promoting their social, emotional, and physical well-being.
- Support Room Leader: Collaborate with the Room Leader to implement the centre's curriculum and documentation, ensuring high-quality care and education.
- Activity Setup and Facilitation: Plan and set up engaging activities that promote learning and development, and facilitate their implementation.
- Teamwork and Collaboration: Work collaboratively with the team to achieve centre goals and objectives, and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
- Quality Improvement: Focus on continuous quality improvement, identifying areas for growth and development, and implementing changes to enhance the centre's services.
- Room Presentation: Maintain a clean and welcoming environment, ensuring the room is presented in an immaculate manner.
- Availability: Be available to work on rotating shifts, Monday to Friday, between 6:30am and 6:30pm.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Hold an ACECQA-approved Cert III or Diploma qualification in Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Working with Children's Check: Hold a current Working with Children's Check.
- Child Protection Training: Hold current Child Protection Training.
- First Aid and CPR: Hold current Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR, and First Aid Certificates, or be willing to obtain them.
