Job Title: Community Outreach Coordinator
This is an exciting opportunity to work for a multifaceted, fast-paced local government authority in a supportive environment based in the South East suburbs. The role will report to the Manager, Community Engagement and will undertake communications activities on ongoing community projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop communications and engagement information across existing channels
- Coordinate feedback, queries, and complaints from the community
- Develop and implement community engagement plans related to project works
- Build positive relationships throughout the organisation and with external stakeholders
- Work alongside the Project Manager to proactively manage issues and prepare key communications
- Implement stakeholder and community engagement activities alongside the project team
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have experience in devising and implementing community engagement strategies in a diverse service-oriented organisation. They will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as strong project management skills. Sound knowledge and experience in research and data analysis are also essential.
