Cyber Security & GRC Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cyber Security & GRC professional to join our team. This opportunity is ideal for someone with 1–2 years of experience in cyber security and/or governance, risk, and compliance (GRC) who wants to build their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

  • Assist in the delivery of cyber security projects and initiatives aligned with strategic goals.
  • Support the development and maintenance of security documentation and policies.
  • Contribute to risk assessments and help track compliance with frameworks such as the Essential Eight and ISM.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure security requirements are considered in new projects.
  • Help monitor and report on security performance, incidents, and vulnerabilities.
  • Participate in awareness activities to promote a strong security culture across the organisation.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 1–2 years of experience in cyber security and/or GRC roles.
  • A basic understanding of Australian Government security frameworks (e.g., PSPF, ISM).
  • Familiarity with security documentation and risk management practices.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn from experienced mentors.
  • Relevant qualifications or certifications in ICT, Cyber Security, or GRC.
