Electrical Maintenance SpecialistWe are committed to sustainable food production. As an Electrical Maintenance Specialist at our processing facility, you will work alongside a skilled team performing preventative and scheduled maintenance to the highest standard, minimizing downtime and boosting productivity across our seafood processing facility.This full-time, hands-on role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working both independently and as part of a team.
  • Respond to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults, and repair electrical systems to ensure minimal disruption.
  • Apply mechanical expertise to assist trades teams in both breakdown response and scheduled maintenance, ensuring efficient equipment operations.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot PLC and SCADA-based systems, network cabling, variable speed drives, LV power distribution, and instrumentation.
  • Interpret electrical schematics to carry out effective repairs and preventative maintenance.
  • Proactively identify potential issues to improve operational efficiency and reduce downtime.
  • Uphold strict safety standards and contribute to our Zero Harm culture.
  • Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure all processing equipment operates reliably.
To be successful in this role, you will require:
  • A current Australian Electrical Licence/Trade Qualification + full working rights.
  • A strong mechanical aptitude.
  • FMCG/manufacturing experience with food processing equipment knowledge.
  • LV/ELV troubleshooting & ability to interpret electrical schematics.
  • A safety-first mindset with strong problem-solving skills.
  • A team player who works autonomously & drives improvement.
  • Flexibility for on-call/overtime.
  • The ability to pass a pre-employment medical/drug test.
