The Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled Inventory Management Specialist to join our team. This role will focus on developing and implementing advanced strategies for optimizing spare part inventory management, ensuring maximum uptime and supporting our company's growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor the workplace to identify and mitigate hazards, ensuring a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with the quality team to maintain high-quality standards for inventory and implement improvements as needed.
- Liaise with stakeholders, including Engineering, Maintenance, and Planning and Scheduling teams, to define the best spare parts management strategy.
- Generate comprehensive inventory and stock control reports to inform business decisions.
- Provide coaching and guidance to the engineering and maintenance teams on optimal spare parts utilization.
Requirements
- Professional and technical background in mechanical or electrical areas.
- Previous experience with SAP is highly desirable.
- Flexible attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.
- Strategic view of highly automated Warehouse/Production environments.
