Auto Electrician

About the Role

SEE Group is seeking an experienced Auto Electrician to join our team, working out of our workshop. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for providing an effective and efficient mechanical service involving the repair, servicing, and maintenance of SEE Group plant, equipment, and light vehicle fleet.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, identify faults, and repair electrical wiring, air-conditioning, and computer-based equipment in vehicles, plant, and equipment.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements.
• Diagnose and repair complex electrical and mechanical issues in heavy plant equipment.
• Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless maintenance operations.
• Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.

Requirements

• Background in Heavy Plant, Mechanical, and Electrical processes.
• Auto Electrical Trade Certificate.
• Current Drivers Licence.
• Clear understanding of excellence in customer service.
• Proven management skills, practices, and planning ability.
• Demonstrated experience managing multiple tasks and maintaining focus on priorities.
• Highly effective skills in negotiating, evaluating, and administering contracts.
• Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships.
• Computer literacy, particularly experience working with Microsoft Office applications.
• Highly effective planning, organizing, and problem-solving skills together with the ability to lead, motivate, and influence others.
