The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join our team as a maintenance specialist. This site-based role involves working on a 2/2 FIFO roster, with day and night shifts scheduled. Reporting to the Site Support Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Performing diagnostic evaluations, maintenance, and repairs on Electric Drive Hitachi Trucks in accordance with manufacturer specifications
  • Ensuring all relevant paperwork and reporting are completed and submitted in a timely manner
  • Maintaining the HCA Safety Culture by prioritizing and embracing safety in every situation
  • Providing quality service and maintenance on various plant and product lines
  • Liaising with technical support staff to ensure timely customer service delivery

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recognized trade qualification in High Voltage Electricity
  • A valid HR Driver's License and High Risk Licenses, including EWP, WAH, Dogging & Rigging
  • Demonstrated experience in mining equipment maintenance, preferably with exposure to Hitachi mining equipment
  • Strong computer literacy skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office
  • An ability to deliver quality customer service and work output
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A commitment to Workplace Health & Safety and a proactive approach to reducing hazards
