As a Graduate Nurse, you will be part of a dynamic team working in a supportive and collaborative environment.

About the Role

We are seeking applications for our 2026 Transition to Practice (Graduate) Program. Our goal is to provide ongoing employment opportunities for graduate nurses, including rotations in our Enhancement year or ongoing employment on other campuses.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Nurse Unit Manager and multidisciplinary team to enhance core business operations
  • Participate in the Graduate Nurse Program, completing all outlined requirements during Graduate Orientation
  • Plan, implement, and evaluate evidence-based nursing care in collaboration with the healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
  • Assume accountability and responsibility for actions and delegation of care as required
  • Provide high-quality, comprehensive patient-centered care while serving as a resource and role model to colleagues
Skills & Qualifications:
  • Establish a compassionate environment by providing emotional support to staff, patients, families, and carers
  • Maintain relationships with the healthcare team through effective communication and participation in team problem-solving
  • Engage in annual performance reviews and professional development plans aligned with Grampians Health's Staff Development Program
