About Our Healthcare Team

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing quality healthcare services to students in our Health Centre.

The ideal candidate will have current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse and experience working with children in schools, adolescent/child health, general practice, and/or mental health. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling them to engage and work effectively with various stakeholders, including young people and their parents.

In this role, you will deliver timely assessment, treatment, and referral of ill and injured students. You will also provide daily care for boarding students and assist with day students' health needs until parents take responsibility. Additionally, you will respond to staff and student requests for assistance and offer emergency first aid to the community or visitors.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering high-quality healthcare services to students in a timely manner

  • Offering emergency first aid to the community or visitors

You will be available to work term-time weekdays at short notice to cover illness and leave. A First Aid Certificate with CPR is essential for this role.

To be successful in this position, you will need to demonstrate your ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also require excellent organizational and time management skills, ensuring that you can prioritize tasks and manage competing demands effectively.
