About the Role

EACH Victoria is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Key Worker. In this rewarding role, you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the lives of children and families in our community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Supports: Work closely with families to identify and address their unique needs, providing evidence-informed best practice to achieve their goals.
  • Assessment and Planning: Conduct thorough assessments and observations to develop tailored support options that cater to each child's and family's needs.
  • Empower Families: Use your coaching skills to empower families, caregivers, and professionals, helping them build skills and confidence to support children in their everyday lives.
  • Community Connection: Connect children and families with their community, ensuring they are included and can participate in settings and activities they choose.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of conversations, developmental progress, and goals in the NDIA business system.
  • NDIS Support: Guide families through the application, implementation, and funding processes of NDIS plans.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualification in Allied Health.
  • Expert knowledge in child development and the ability to identify developmental issues.
  • Proven track record supporting families and children with developmental delays/disabilities.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the NDIS Early Childhood Approach and early childhood intervention best practice principles.
