Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Engineer to join our Brisbane team and further develop their engineering and consulting expertise in a collaborative environment that encourages professional growth and development through on-the-job training and internal learning programs.

The day-to-day role will include:

  • Preparing comprehensive Hydraulic engineering design documentation from concept through to tender and construction phases;
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless project coordination and resolution of overall project design solutions;
  • Contributing to the delivery of project-related tasks to meet quality, timeframe, and performance targets;
  • Interfacing with regulatory authorities and project stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration;
  • Participating in site inspections and collaborating with trade contractors to ensure designs are implemented as briefed.

Your Profile

  • Bachelor to Master level degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Civil or Building Services Engineering);
  • 2 to 5+ years' industry experience within an Australian building services consulting engineering practice;
  • Proven expertise across a range of building sectors;
  • Registered Professional Engineer (or working towards registration);
  • Experience with Hydraulic engineering design and liaison with relevant authorities;
  • Intermediate knowledge of Australia Standards and Building Code of Australia;
  • Excellent time management, written and verbal communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills;
  • Familiarity with Revit MEP, NavisWorks, and BIM would be advantageous.
