North Rockhampton Nursing Centre is a 120-bed facility providing residential aged care accommodation for general high care residents and those experiencing dementia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement systems to optimize resource utilization and ensure compliance with policies, standards, and guidelines.
  • Create and manage staff training programs to maintain high standards and participate in recruitment and selection.
  • Implement operational strategies, review policies and procedures, and goals to ensure staff are developed to full potential.
  • Manage commercial contracts to ensure contractors meet obligations and provide an efficient service.
  • Coordinate routine maintenance of plant and equipment with onsite and external contractors.
  • Ensure coordination, analysis, and documentation of quality activities and maintain effective reporting/recording systems.
  • Oversee financial aspects of service delivery, including cost centre management.
Required Skills and Qualifications

An aged care criminal history clearance and/or NDIS card are mandatory for this role.

Benefits

A total monthly remuneration package of up to $7,647 p.m., comprising an hourly rate between $45.61 - $49.88 p.h., employer superannuation contribution, and leave loading.
