The Role of Graduate Program Lead in Clinical Development

As a clinical professional, you have the opportunity to lead and support the development of graduate clinicians in a dynamic role.

  1. Lead the Occupational Therapist New Graduate Cohort for the South region of Brisbane, ensuring their clinical competence and progression of skills and knowledge.
  2. Develop and manage a reduced NDIS caseload, assessing participant needs, designing therapy plans, and advocating on their behalf.
  3. Liaise with multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders to deliver safe, high-quality services that meet organisational and participant needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Demonstrate leadership and support to graduate clinicians in clinical practice.
  • Manage and develop therapeutic relationships with NDIS participants.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve organisational objectives.
Requirements:
  • Possess tertiary qualifications in Occupational Therapy, with 3+ years post-graduate experience.
  • Have demonstrated experience in capacity building supports with NDIS participants.
  • Hold relevant registrations and proof of COVID vaccinations.
  • Be a passionate advocate for participant-centred care.
