Job Description

The role of the Marketplace team within Wavemaker is to deliver high-quality implementation planning and buying services. This includes traditional media and online evolution of traditional media. The Associate Director will help shape and manage the delivery of client media plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Managing a team with experience in Implementation Planning and Buying
  • Strong knowledge of the media landscape and ability to articulate macro consumer trends
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Extensive media buying experience and negotiation skills
  • Clear communication and presentation skills
What Success Looks Like

In 3 months:

  • Established relationships with key stakeholders and internal reports
  • Strong understanding of the agency's proposition and core processes
  • Immersed in the team and aware of active and upcoming campaigns

In 6 months:

  • Delivering on all aspects of the role efficiently and effectively
  • Strengthening stakeholder relationships and managing Marketplace processes

In 12 months:

  • Taking on greater ownership for campaigns and clients
  • Building strong relationships with publishers and representing the Wavemaker team
