JOB SUMMARY:

The role involves the reception, issuance, and procurement of components for internal aircraft operations, as well as managing repair orders with external service providers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Receive and document all aircraft components and kits from the designated distribution center.
  • Distribute parts and kits to the production floor, providing support to technicians with their component needs.
  • Process external orders from clients and prepare items for dispatch, requiring proficiency in reading parts catalogs and understanding warranty versus exchange scenarios.
  • Monitor backorder reports and coordinate with the distribution center for updates.
  • Assist in regular and special inventory counts and generate purchase orders for necessary supplies for the parts room, including packaging and shipping materials.
  • Support the billing process for customers related to repairs, shipping, and other services.
  • Oversee all consignment and exchange programs associated with the company.
  • Perform additional related tasks as needed.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a foundational understanding of aircraft components.

A minimum of two years of experience in aircraft parts management is essential.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication abilities.
  • Capability to read, comprehend, and analyze illustrated parts catalogs.
  • Proficiency in interpreting overhaul manuals and aircraft engine documentation.
