The Role

We are looking for commercial real estate lawyers with expertise in areas such as acquisition, financing, development, and sale of commercial real estate. You will have the opportunity to work with different clients, sectors, and teams, including within A&O Shearman.

A successful applicant will have:

  • A right to work and reside in Australia
  • Qualified to practice in Australia – unrestricted
  • A minimum of four years' post-qualification experience, ideally within a top-tier law firm and a leading financial institution or corporate
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in a common law jurisdiction is preferred
  • Self-starter with a commitment to building a career as a consultant and a drive to achieve at a high level while working as a consultant
  • Adept at leading or working within complex multi-functional, multi-national project environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface at all levels, building strong relationships internally and externally
  • Client service-focused, with exemplary client service ethic and commitment
  • Strong commercial/business acumen
  • Resilient, adaptable, autonomous, and highly credible
  • Advanced organisational skills and diplomacy

Flexibility

One of the benefits of being a Peerpoint consultant is the flexibility to remain in the workforce without putting other aspects of life on hold. You can choose your own schedule, work with different clients, and take on new challenges.

We estimate that the salary for this role is around $120,000 - $180,000 AUD per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. However, please note that this is just an estimate and we cannot guarantee a specific salary range.
