Residential Site Manager

We are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join our team as the Residential Site Manager - Shepparton. This is a residential aged care home, and you will be offered an extensive induction to our philosophy of care and support.
About the RoleAs the Residential Site Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring all service delivery is consistent with our policies and procedures, meeting the Standards for Aged Care Services and other statutory requirements. You will also coordinate staff recruitment, care support documentation, and promote a non-institutional philosophy within the home.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure service delivery meets our policies and procedures, and statutory requirements.
- Coordinate staff recruitment and care support documentation.
- Promote a non-institutional philosophy within the home.
- Provide leadership to staff and ensure they have the necessary skills and expertise to provide a quality service.
- Provide effective financial management of the home.
- Previous management experience in Homelessness and/or Aged Care sector.
- Extensive knowledge of current approaches in working with clients who exhibit complex behaviours.
- Knowledge of Commonwealth and State Government policies, standards, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to liaise with and empower employees within their roles.
- Ability to be on-call out of hours on rotating roster.
- A non-judgmental approach with the ability to work with people from varying socio-economic backgrounds.
- An understanding of the special needs of older people.
- Current CPR & First Aid.
