About the Role


We are seeking an inspiring music educator to captivate Year 1 to Year 6 students, sparking a passion for music learning.


The successful applicant will build meaningful connections with students, staff, and the school community.


They will bring proactive strategies to enhance student behaviour and engagement, fostering positive outcomes both inside and outside the classroom.


Key Responsibilities


The Music Educator will be responsible for planning, presenting, and assessing a differentiated, challenging, and engaging music program.


They will have a thorough understanding of the Western Australian Curriculum.

Eligibility Criteria


To work with us, you must:



  • hold an eligible teaching qualification;
  • be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights for the term of the appointment;
  • apply for a WA Working with Children Check before starting; and
  • consent to and obtain a National Criminal History Check with the Department's Screening Unit.

Salary Information


The estimated salary for this role is around $80,000 per annum, depending on your level of experience and qualifications.


This is a 12-month fixed-term, part-time position (0.5 FTE) commencing Term 1, 2025.
