We are seeking a highly skilled Project Engineer to join our team at Consolidated Power Projects, a leading provider of high-voltage infrastructure solutions. As a Project Engineer, you will play a key role in delivering high-voltage projects, providing delivery and engineering support, and assisting in project management.
Key Responsibilities- Ensure compliance with company/client Quality Policies and Procedures;
- Prepare tenders and project plans;
- Assist with project planning, execution, and closing;
- Prepare management plans, including ITP/ITCs;
- Negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors;
- Prepare and execute RFQs for suppliers and subcontractors;
- Prepare contracts and monitor subcontractor behavior;
- Update project programs (Microsoft Project);
- Conduct site inspections and monitor progress on behalf of the Project Manager;
- Undertake project management tasks;
- Project procurement, expediting, and reporting;
- Ensure designs and client requirements are correctly implemented on site;
- Interpret primary and secondary design specifications, documentation, and reports;
- Interpret design implementation during construction to assist construction personnel.
- Tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering;
- General knowledge of the High Voltage infrastructure industry, including project management, design, procurement, construction, and commissioning knowledge;
- Knowledge of MS Project and project management principles;
- The ability to solve problems and make good decisions in a timely manner, consulting others when appropriate;
- Proven ability to work in a team environment (communication with designers, construction personnel, client, and management).
