We are seeking a skilled MR Truck Driver to join our team at JJ's Waste & Recycling. As a Medical Waste Collector, you will be responsible for operating a medical and sanitary waste collection vehicle from our Mackay Health & Hygiene depot.
On a day-to-day basis, this role will require you to service multiple customer sites, working with a safe, modern, and reliable fleet serviced and maintained in our on-site workshops.
We are an essential services industry, offering stability to employees and reliability to our customers.
You will enjoy family-friendly hours, no more long haul, DIDO, or FIFO, as well as great pay rates, particularly for those interested in overtime or additional work on weekends. Early starts (between 4-6am) and early finishes.
If you've got your MR licence, we can teach you the rest.
About You- Current MR licence (essential)
- Forklift ticket - advantage
- Must be able to structure runs and have an excellent rapport with customers
- Commit to JJ's Waste values and be willing to embrace workplace diversity
- Be dedicated to achieving high standards of safety compliance
- Be subject to a pre-employment medical, drug, and alcohol testing
- Able to provide your last 5 years' traffic history at interview stage
- Well-developed people and relationship skills
