Job Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Business Travel Operations Manager to lead our travel team. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who has exceptional client and people management skills, and is looking for a great work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Team Leadership: Oversee all operations including recruitment, training, rostering, and performance management.
  • Client Support: Provide support to clients with complex bookings, changes, reissues, or refunds.
  • GDS Management: Work on a Global Distribution System (GDS) to make reservations, preferably using Sabre.
  • Booking and Evaluation: Book flights, hotels, car hire, and special requests for domestic and international destinations, and evaluate fare options and routing alternatives to deliver the most favourable fares.
Requirements:
  • Management Experience: Must have experience in managing teams.
  • Travel Industry Expertise: Proven experience in the travel industry.
  • GDS Skills: Strong GDS experience, preferably with Sabre, and knowledge of airfares, ticketing, reissues, and cancellations.
  • Organisational Skills: Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Travel Experience: Domestic and international end-to-end travel experience is highly desirable.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional client service and interpersonal skills.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong organisation, time management, and problem-solving abilities.
Benefits

$80,000 - $90,000 per annum + Bonus + Super.

Full-time permanent role with hybrid working arrangements, allowing you to work from home or our CBD location office.
