About the Role

We are seeking a Defence Psychologist to join our team at the Australian Public Service (APS) within the Navy. As a civilian role, you will work closely with Navy members and command teams to deliver best-practice resilience and mental health programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver psychological support to Navy members, including assessments and brief interventions
  • Develop and deliver training on mental health and resilience
  • Liaise with stakeholders, including command elements and health providers

Requirements

  • Degree in Psychology or related field
  • Registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency
  • Experience working in a similar role, preferably in a military or defence context

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary of $91,702 - $104,753 per annum
  • Possibility of up to 15.4% Superannuation
  • Work location: Potts Point - NSW
