Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Telecommunications Linesworker to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing telecommunications sites, as well as ensuring all rigging activities are done in a safe manner and in accordance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Install and maintain telecommunications sites, including the installation of maintenance of telecommunications equipment, feeder/cabling/antennae, and associated ancillary equipment.
  • Relocate and repair telecommunications equipment, including tower/pole mounted equipment, as per design.
  • Terminate telecommunications cables of various types and sizes, and test cables for compliance with specifications.
  • Follow CPS Work instruction guidelines and quality specifications.
  • Take photos as per CPS Handover Pack guidelines.
  • Work with cranes, cherry pickers, and EWP as required on site.
  • Ensure all test equipment and rigging equipment is maintained in accordance with regulations and manufacturers' standards.
  • Perform tasks as per PM/PE schedule and allocated budgets.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in telecommunications construction, installation, and commissioning.
  • Experience with 4G and 5G equipment.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a dynamic environment.
  • Understanding of Quality, WHS, and Environmental Management Systems.

CPS Technology & Infrastructure offers an excellent salary package and the opportunity to work with a fast-growing company in the wireless telecommunications sector. This is a full-time position with a salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 + superannuation. The role will be based in Brisbane.
