About the Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Remuneration Strategist and Benefits Coordinator to join our People and Culture team at REA Group in Melbourne or Sydney. This is a permanent role that offers a hybrid working arrangement.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist remuneration and benefits support within the People & Culture team, ensuring that our remuneration and benefits programs support the attraction and retention of talent. The key purpose of this role is to provide strategic advice on remuneration matters, manage and deliver key cyclical remuneration processes, and ensure that our remuneration framework remains fit for purpose.

  • Contribute perspective and thought leadership in all areas of remuneration to ensure that REA's remuneration strategy remains aligned with our evolving business needs.
  • Provide mentoring and development to the People and Culture business partnering team as the remuneration SME.
  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of REA's remuneration framework, ensuring that the framework and associated pay structures remain competitive.
  • Continuously integrate the remuneration framework into the business to achieve greater transparency.
  • Ensure that key remuneration moments support the REA Group Employee Value Proposition.

This role reports to our Executive Manager, Reward and People Operations, and sits within our Reward and People Operations team, a Centre of Expertise (COE) group within REA Group's People and Culture team.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will have a demonstrated remuneration expertise in the ASX environment, whether from a consulting house or directly. Key responsibilities include:

  • Managing and delivering the annual remuneration reviews process.
  • Oversight and management of all REA Group share plans, including preparation of offer documents, management of allocation and vesting process, share plan reporting, and administration.
  • Ensuring that the REA approach to Job Evaluations is fit-for-purpose and aligned with business strategic needs.
  • Managing and delivering REAs contribution to salary surveys.
  • Managing and delivering market benchmarking, including REA Executive Leadership Team.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will have excellent analytical skills, particularly in the use of Excel, great communication and stakeholder management skills, and a proactive and continuous improvement mindset. A desire to work collaboratively across the P&C function and be the subject matter expert is also essential.
