Branch Manager Job Description

The role of a Branch Manager is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership, business acumen, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.

This job involves coaching and developing the skills of your team to drive performance and career development goals. You will be responsible for prioritizing business performance through tracking key performance indicators (KPIs), reporting, and creating strategic plans.

You will work closely with the board to build and nurture community relationships, establishing yourself as the face of our brand. As a leader by example, you will prioritize the customer experience and step in wherever the branch needs you.

To succeed in this role, you will need to have people leadership skills with the ability to develop, coach, and manage staff performance. You should have proven sales mentorship skills through implementing strategies to drive business.

Experience in residential and commercial lending, strong communication skills, and an understanding of financial management are also essential. Additionally, you should be able to drive operational efficiencies, maintain high standards of compliance, and demonstrate a high level of understanding of lending products, policies, and regulations.
