About the Role

Metz Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Project Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our Project Services team, you will be responsible for managing projects from start to finish, ensuring that they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the full lifecycle of projects, including estimating, pricing, project management, and completion.
  • Deliver projects based on a standard 8-hour working day, with capacity to manage works on weekends or after hours if required.
  • Manage projects with our team of skilled applicators on tiling and epoxy coating projects.
  • Ensure projects and works are delivered safely, implementing WHS requirements.
  • Attend site to measure and inspect work progress.
  • Delivery of projects on budget, with skills in project cost control, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Understand labour and material requirements and schedule works in advance.
  • Co-ordinate materials and deliveries on time, order supplies, and tooling as required.
  • Regular reporting, including weekly toolbox talks and job progress reporting.

The Ideal Candidate

We are looking for someone who has:

  • An eye for details, managing projects so that works are completed on time while ensuring a quality finish.
  • Strong skills in organisation, with the ability to co-ordinate projects, manage trades, arrange materials, and schedule works.
  • Great communication skills, both written and verbal, and good computer literacy skills with the Microsoft suite.
  • A good understanding of cost control, with experience in financial processes and systems.
  • Goal orientated, with the ability to track projects and tasks.
  • Willingness to travel to sites across Melbourne, Victoria, and occasionally interstate to suit business needs.
  • Previous site supervision experience or similar role is strongly desired.
