Role Overview

We are seeking highly motivated individuals to assist with various roles at polling sites across Western Australia.

The successful candidates will be responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of election processes, working closely with our team to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities
  • Quality Assurance - Mailhouse: Attend the mail house to perform quality assurance on election packages being prepared for postal vote lodgement using a provided checklist.
  • Print house Quality Assurance: Ensure ballot papers are printed and packed correctly, requiring attention to detail, ability to work in teams, repetitive tasks, good communication skills, and ability to work in a warehouse environment.
  • Nomination Project Officer: Check compliance of candidate nomination forms and enter data into a centralized database, demonstrating strong attention to detail and aptitude for working quickly, typing accurately, and collaborating as part of a productive team.
  • Nomination Admin Assistant: Assist the Nominations team by undertaking administrative duties, including monitoring the nomination mailbox, uploading nomination forms, maintaining accurate records, and filing nomination forms, requiring strong attention to detail and competence in Microsoft Office.
  • How-to-vote Card Project Team Leader: Lead the project team in processing how-to-vote cards, reporting to the Project Coordinator, and communicating complicated information clearly to diverse groups.
  • How-to-vote Card Project Project Assistant: Assist the project team in processing how-to-vote cards, contributing effectively as a team member, possessing proficiency in Microsoft Office, attention to detail, and accuracy.
Requirements

We are looking for candidates who possess excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in a team environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is also essential.

A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with prior experience in a similar role preferred.

Working Conditions

Candidates will work in a fast-paced environment, with varying shifts and hours, depending on the specific role and location.

They will be required to wear uniform attire and adhere to the company's dress code policy.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is between $22.00 and $30.00 per hour, depending on the specific position and level of experience.
