About The Role

This is an exciting opportunity to work in a multidisciplinary team providing speech pathology services at Camden Hospital.

The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communication skills, be well organised, a good time manager, and able to problem solve on-the-go.

As part of the team, you will have access to regular supervision, opportunities to develop skills and knowledge, and a comprehensive orientation process.

Job Responsibilities

To provide a high quality speech pathology service to patients/clients and their carers to ensure optimal health outcomes. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient assessment and intervention in a multidisciplinary setting.

  • Must hold a bachelor or post graduate degree in Speech Pathology which provides eligibility for membership of Speech Pathology Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team
  • Demonstrated ability to implement the quality improvement process and ensure the application of evidence-based practice
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer literacy and time management
  • Demonstrated clinical knowledge, experience and skills in communication and swallowing assessment and management in paediatrics and/or adult caseloads
