Our organization is seeking a dedicated Clinical Instructor to promote clinical excellence and staff development in a multidisciplinary team environment.

About the Role

This is a permanent, part-time position of 48 hours per fortnight.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of clinical education and training within our facility.

  • Collaborate with other education team members across Perioperative and Procedural Services.
  • Provide person-centred development of staff, assess clinical skills, and assist with clinical education events.
  • Support other education activities across multiple sites in collaboration with the clinical education team.

You are a dynamic team player who works collaboratively, proactively and inclusively within clinical and education environments.

You have demonstrable clinical leadership, excellent time management skills, and the ability to build strong professional relationships that uphold core values.

You will contribute as both a cross-functional team member and an autonomous individual contributor.

Qualifications & Experience
  • Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a Scrub Scout role.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a clinically-based education role (highly desirable).
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (current, and/or working towards).
  • Postgraduate qualification in clinical specialty (highly desirable, and/or working towards).
  • Current Advanced Life Support Certification.
