AWS Security Specialist

We are seeking a skilled professional to act as an AWS security engineer. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, deploying and maintaining security controls, as well as integrating with native AWS tools.

  • Designing and implementing AWS security services, ensuring compliance against industry standards
  • Developing, testing and deploying security tools as code onto AWS via CI/CD pipelines on EC2 instances
  • Managing log collection and onboarding activities onto AWS for SOC security tools (SIEM) from cloud and on-premise environments
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing deployment activities, ensuring that entry criteria are met, all planned activities are completed, and rollback plans are initiated where required.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will have strong technical skills, including:

  • Strong knowledge of AWS configuration, deployment, and security functions
  • Experience working with regional AWS staff
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts to clients and stakeholders
  • Good time and schedule management
